Classic Bad Photography Sunday: The Square

We're digging deep into my photography collection today.  I took the picture you see above in May of 1979. This is the corner of Linden Street and North Washington Avenue in Scranton.  Courthouse Square had a ton of big, beautiful trees-- which hid the ugly old annex.  Notice the width of the old sidewalks.  They are almost as wide as the streets themselves.

Above is the new square-- a soulless sea of granite and concrete.  I took this picture in January of this year.
