One Week

The general election is one week from today, and it's time for closing arguments from the candidates.  It's time to pull out all the stops.

I saw an interesting poll from ABC News after the Kavanaugh Supreme Court confirmation hearings.  The hearings cemented opinions.  It didn't change them.

This election will be like every other.  Turnout is key, especially in Democratic strongholds, like Philadelphia.  A weak turnout in Philadelphia allowed Republicans to flex their rural strength, and Pennsylvania turned red.

There is a bit of a wild card this year-- the congressional redistricting.  We'll go through it again after the 2020 census, with Pennsylvania losing one or two seats in congress, and some of our electoral college influence.

Fasten your seat belts.  A wild week is ahead.
