There are a lot of chain restaurants in a relatively small piece of real estate near the Viewmont Mall in Dickson City. Quaker Steak and Lube and Tilted Kilt are long gone. Uno joins the list at the end of the month.
I've been in an Uno only once in my life. It was in Philadelphia in the early 90's. Nice place. Good food. I've never been to the Dickson City restaurant.
Management was quoted in the paper as saying competition from all the other pizza restaurants did them in. I suspect there is more to the story. If you offer a good product, at a decent price, with good service, people will flock to your door.
I feel sorry for the people losing their jobs when Uno closes.
