It seems telemarketers are much more aggressive. The calls are more frequent. The pitches are bigger lies. One guy tried to tell me he was calling because of a recent inquiry I made about life insurance. Totally not true.
By the way, this doesn't include the calls from political candidates, which the state legislature left out of a bill to curb nuisance calls.
And yes, all my phone lines are on the Do Not Call list. I checked.
I shudder to think at the number of interruptions I'd receive if I wasn't on the list.
