Every so often, my blood starts to boil over things that are happening in the news business. So much has been said about recent arrivals and especially departures at the national broadcast and cable networks.
We all need to be reminded of the words of the great David Brinkley once in a while.
"IT'S NOT OUR JOB TO HATE OR LOVE. OUR JOB IS TO TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED."
Yes, we have to hold people accountable, to hold their feet to the fire, to have them explain decisions.
Unfortunately, personal opinion, from all across the political spectrum, has infiltrated objective and unbiased news reporting, and it's time it stopped.
