I have to admit, it's a guilty pressure.

I love tracking hurricanes and tropical storms.  Where is it?  Where will it go?

I'm always punching up the National Weather Service web site, looking at the forecast cones, probabilities, watches, warnings...

As I've noted here before, I did, very briefly,  kick around meteorology as a career choice, but then, I discovered all the math involved.  Pass.

As I write this, "Dorian" is moving east.  It looks like Florida will get hit.

Having said that, I don't care for The Weather Channel hysterics, or watching "journalists" showboat as a big storm comes ashore.

The fascination is with the journey.
