It was an opportunity to visit the grave of a childhood friend and to reflect on all those who served.
I also use the trip to exercise some photography skills, including depth of field and focus points. I used the kit lens on this trip, and that was a mistake. One of my prime lenses would have provided more background blur, but you get the idea.
Blurry or not, it is a stirring sight.
