As has been tradition in recent years, my weekend begins with a visit to Cathedral Cemetery, off Oram Street in Scranton.
Hundreds, maybe thousands of veterans are buried here. There is a flag on every grave, and it is an impressive sight. There are some cemeteries that do it just as well, but there is no more stirring sight than here in Scranton.
On top of that, I finally found the grave of a childhood friend here, so it's always a productive visit.
